Senior Staff Analog Design Engineer

About the role

Renesas’s $2.6B Power Business Unit seeks a Senior Staff Analog Design Engineer to design complex analog IPs and PMICs for mobile devices. The role involves owning sub-block designs, leading small engineering teams, and mentoring junior staff in Bengaluru. This position operates under a remote work model.

What you’ll do

• Design and own complex I/Ps like charge pumps, LDOs, oscillators, sensors, and ADCs
• Implement and compensate control loops and analog feedback systems
• Build block-level specs from top-level requirements and design switching converters
• Lead small groups of engineers through IC development stages
• Mentor freshers and junior engineers to upscale technical skills
• Collaborate with layout leads on floor planning and chip top completion
• Optimize design flows and simulation setups for accuracy and speed
• Define protection strategies for ESD, LU, and I/O rings

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering
• 10+ years in Analog Circuit Design, Simulation and Verification
• Solid understanding and design experience of complex analog designs with full ownership
• Experience in chip design, verification, silicon validation, debugs, and production
