About the role
EY’s Service Excellence team in Bengaluru seeks an Assistant Director to drive strategy execution and governance across Global Delivery Services. The role involves orchestrating initiatives, managing dashboards, and fostering continuous improvement through process engineering and stakeholder management. This on-site position requires over 14 years of professional services experience.
What you’ll do
- Support the Service Excellence Leader in defining strategy, roadmap, and new initiatives
- Establish and manage central initiatives tracker for transformation programs
- Design and manage Service Excellence dashboards for KPIs, maturity, and impact
- Ensure adherence to process standards, quality frameworks, and compliance reviews
- Act as connective interface across teams, business functions, and global stakeholders
- Support rollout of CI, agile, quality, and AI-led capability programs
- Translate leadership vision into structured initiatives, frameworks, and action plans
- Conduct research, benchmarking, and internal analysis to inform strategic decisions
What you’ll bring
- Over 14 years of experience in professional services or related industry
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably engineering or management background
- Proven leadership experience in service or business excellence
- Minimum 5 years functional experience in Brands, Marketing, and Communications
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Certified Practitioner, or Champion
Nice to have
- Practical experience implementing quality systems like ISO, Agile, and Delivery Excellence
- Strong understanding of project/program management methodologies and quality management systems
- Proficiency in metrics reporting, management, and governance
- Experience leading teams with 10+ Black Belts and influencing indirect reports
