About the role

AI and Infrastructure team at Google Cloud develops custom silicon for data center AI accelerators. The Senior Silicon Physical Design Engineer defines physical design methodologies, owns design partitions, and optimizes timing and power for high‑performance, low‑power SoCs. Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, on-site, hybrid schedule with occasional offsite work.

What you’ll do

• Define and drive implementation of physical design methodologies
• Own one or more physical design partitions or top‑level blocks
• Manage timing and power consumption of designs
• Contribute to design methodology, libraries, and code reviews
• Define physical design rule sets for functional design engineers

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years experience with advanced silicon design, including clock/voltage domain crossing, DFT, and low‑power designs
