Associate, L2 Monitoring

About the role

Subscriber Delivery and Operations team at Benchmark Gensuite ensures reliable server infrastructure for its EHS, Sustainability, and ESG digital platform. The Associate, L2 Monitoring proactively watches server health, troubleshoots incidents, conducts root cause analysis, and mentors junior engineers to maintain high availability. Bangalore, India, on-site role with occasional on-call rotational shifts.

What you’ll do

• Monitor server health, performance, and logs to detect anomalies
• Analyze and troubleshoot server issues, providing timely resolutions
• Perform root cause analysis for major incidents and document findings
• Serve as primary contact for server incidents, updating stakeholders
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers
• Collaborate with L3 engineers, DBAs, and network specialists
• Identify recurring issues and suggest long‑term solutions
• Respond to alerts on CPU, memory, disk, network utilization, and availability

What you’ll bring

• 1-2 years IT server administration or monitoring
• Experience with Windows Server OS
• Linux administration knowledge
• Familiarity with AWS and SQL
• Use of Splunk or similar troubleshooting tools
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP protocols
• Experience with server monitoring tools
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization
