About the role
Commissioning Engineer Team for Fire Fighting systems at Johnson Controls focuses on delivering safe, reliable fire protection solutions. The role commissions fire fighting systems including pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, water mist, foam and gaseous suppression, ensuring compliance with NFPA 72, IBC and project timelines. Based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, on-site work model with occasional coordination with vendors and architects.
What you’ll do
- Render commissioning for fire fighting systems
- Test equipment on site and ensure compliance with processes
- Coordinate with vendors, architects, clients and contractors
- Lead site engineers and technicians to resolve technical issues
- Maintain customer satisfaction and achieve project deliverables
What you’ll bring
- 4-6 years hands‑on commissioning experience
- Knowledge of NFPA 72 and IBC codes
- Experience with fire suppression systems (pump, hydrant, sprinkler, water mist, foam, FM‑200, CO2)
- Ability to manage KPIs and meet project timelines
- Strong written and verbal communication
Nice to have
ME/BE/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Telecommunication
