About the role
Wells Fargo seeks a Financial Controls Analyst in Hyderabad, India, to consult on financial reporting and IT governance. The role involves overseeing testing of complex control areas, implementing policy frameworks, and supporting moderate-to-complex projects. This full-time position operates under a Hybrid work model.
What you’ll do
- Consult with line of business and enterprise functions on financial reporting, IT governance, and controls
- Identify compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas
- Provide oversight for testing and monitoring involving moderate to complex subject matter
- Implement, operate, and report results of company's policy, governance, and oversight framework
- Lead IT General Controls (ITGCs) COSO test work
- Partner with IT and business Process Owners to document significant in-scope processes
- Perform COSO testing of key IT controls, including design and operating effectiveness assessments
- Analyze severity of application control deficiencies and their impact to internal control over financial reporting
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting or Business and Technology Audit experience
- Bachelor’s/Postgraduate in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- Knowledge of regulatory agencies: Federal Reserve and OCC
- Minimum two years at Big Four/super regional public accounting firm with IT audit/IT SoX advisory experience
Nice to have
- CISA, CISM, or CISSP certification
- MBA or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Designation
- Practical experience performing IT audit/IT COSO application control testing
