About the role

Payroll Tax & Accounting Technology team builds a high‑performance, globally scalable gross‑to‑net payroll calculation engine with deep tax capabilities. The role leads architecture and technical design of the distributed system, drives LLM‑based rule extraction pipelines, implements deterministic tax algorithms and GenAI validation frameworks, and mentors engineers while partnering with tax specialists and payroll operations. Hyderabad, India, on-site.

What you’ll do

• Lead architecture and technical design of global gross‑to‑net engine
• Design deterministic tax calculation algorithms
• Drive LLM‑based rule extraction pipeline
• Create accounting integration services for GL entries
• Implement GenAI shadow‑mode validation frameworks
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices
• Partner with tax specialists and payroll operations

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years software development
• 5+ years programming in a language
• 5+ years system design/architecture
• Mentoring or tech lead experience
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent

Nice to have

• 8+ years full SDLC experience
• Master's degree in CS or equivalent
• Built complex software systems delivered to customers
• Developed and deployed LLMs in production
• Experience in tax, finance or related analytical field
