Solutions Architect - Presales

About the role

The Solutions Architect - Presales role supports enterprise networking and wireless solutions across Aruba, Juniper, and Ruckus environments. Based in Mumbai, India, the position involves designing scalable architectures, delivering technical proposals, and collaborating with sales teams to drive business growth. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity requiring strong pre-sales engineering expertise.

What you’ll do

• Engage with sales, channel partners, and enterprise customers to gather business and technical requirements
• Design end-to-end enterprise network solutions (Campus LAN, WLAN, Branch/WAN) aligned to OEM best practices
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, delivering solution presentations, demos, and architecture walkthroughs
• Support wired and wireless PoCs and translate technical designs into clear business value propositions
• Lead technical responses for RFPs/RFIs/RFQs, including compliance matrices and solution narratives
• Support deal qualification, pricing discussions, OEM registrations, and solution validation
• Coordinate with professional services and deployment teams to ensure smooth handover and implementation readiness
• Maintain detailed design documentation and provide technical guidance to junior engineers

What you’ll bring

• 4–6 years of experience designing enterprise networking and wireless solutions
• Strong background in switching, routing, wireless, security integration, and SD-WAN
• Proficiency in VLAN design, segmentation, inter-VLAN routing, and traffic optimization
• Experience with high-availability designs using MLAG, VSF, Virtual Chassis, LACP, and Spanning Tree
• Hands-on knowledge of Aruba and Ruckus wireless platforms including RF design and Wi-Fi security
• Solid background in WAN/SD-WAN, Juniper SRX routing, MPLS, and VPNs
• Proven ability to deliver HLDs, LLDs, BoQs, PoCs, and winning technical proposals
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BE/B.Tech) or equivalent qualification
