Data Lead, D365 Data Migration

About the role

Data Lead on Birlasoft's D365 Migration team, responsible for driving large‑scale data migration initiatives across sales, finance and project operations. Leads design of data mapping, modeling and impact assessments while managing Azure Data Factory, SSIS and Power Platform pipelines. Bengaluru, India, on‑site role focusing on ERP/CRM data migration and governance.

What you’ll do

• Define migration strategy and roadmap for D365 implementations
• Design and execute data mapping, modeling and impact assessments
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, SSIS and Power Platform
• Ensure data quality, governance and master data management compliance
• Collaborate with business stakeholders across sales, finance and project domains
• Lead Agile delivery teams and coordinate with DevOps pipelines

Nice to have

• 12+ years data management and migration experience
• 5+ years D365 data migration (Sales, Project Operations, F&O)
• Strong ERP/CRM migration background, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
• Hands‑on with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Power Platform Dataflows, KingswaySoft
• Experience with data entities, dual‑write, DMF and integration platforms
• Familiarity with data governance, MDM and data quality frameworks
• Agile and DevOps delivery experience, Azure DevOps preferred
