About the role
Information Security team at Amgen focuses on protecting enterprise data, systems, and networks. The Associate IS Security Engineer deploys, configures and maintains firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, DMARC, DNS and VPN solutions, creates security policies, troubleshoots network security issues, and builds automation scripts to improve operations. Hyderabad, India, on-site role supporting global security initiatives and collaborating with IT, infrastructure and application teams.
What you’ll do
- Deploy, configure and maintain security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, DMARC, DNS, and VPN
- Create, modify and remove security policies and objects in Fortinet UTM and related tools
- Develop scripts and automation solutions to improve network security operations
- Provide remediation guidance for identified security issues
- Draft network security policies, standards and guidance documentation
What you’ll bring
Any degree with 2-6 years of experience in network or network security
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of enterprise network operations, firewall operations, IDS/IPS, web proxy, SSL-VPN/ZTNA
- Troubleshoot enterprise network security solutions
- Create technical documentation using Lucidchart or Visio
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or Remedy change management
