Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst

About the role

Cubic Transportation Systems team seeks a Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst to bridge business needs with ServiceNow platform capabilities. The role leads requirements gathering, translates needs into functional specs, performs gap analysis, and drives process improvements across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD and related modules while collaborating with developers and stakeholders. Hyderabad, India, On-site, hybrid schedule as defined by Cubic.

What you’ll do

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Act as ServiceNow functional SME and provide guidance on platform capabilities
• Perform gap analysis and recommend optimal ServiceNow solutions
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams to ensure accurate implementation
• Drive process improvements across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD and other modules
• Facilitate workshops, demos and user training sessions
• Define and execute UAT plans and support audit activities

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years Business Analyst experience with ServiceNow
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
• Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CMDB, CSDM, ITAM, HRSD, ITOM)
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Proficient in documentation (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows)
• Stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to perform gap analysis and recommend scalable solutions

Nice to have

• ITIL Foundation Certification
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (any module)
