About the role

Global Investment Bank Strategy & Competitive Benchmarking team drives firm‑wide strategic priorities and senior leadership decision‑making. The AVP supports global IB strategy development, leads competitive benchmarking, and creates board‑level materials for senior executives. Based in Mumbai with an on‑site work model, the role offers high visibility and interaction with senior leadership across regions.

What you’ll do

• Support global IB strategy development including medium‑term planning and thematic analyses
• Lead and coordinate competitive benchmarking across global investment banks
• Develop board‑level slide decks, briefing notes, and dashboards with strategic insight
• Collaborate with Finance on performance and profitability analysis
• Partner with COOs and business teams to assess execution considerations and risks
• Drive analytical workstreams end‑to‑end, coordinating inputs across functions

What you’ll bring

• Prior experience in Investment Banking, IB Strategy, Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Banking COO/Chief of Staff roles
• Strong strategic analysis, competitive intelligence, benchmarking, and financial analysis skills
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel proficiency for senior‑leadership ready materials
• Experience working directly with senior management and executives
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal abilities
• High attention to detail, commercial judgement, and intellectual curiosity
