About the role
Arcadis seeks a Senior BIM Modeler (Mechanical) to lead BIM model production and verification for water projects across Bangalore, Noida, and Hyderabad. Responsibilities include QA, risk management, interdisciplinary coordination, BIM Execution Plan development, and 2D drawing production. Requires Mechanical Engineering degree, 7‑10 years BIM experience, proficiency in Revit, Plant 3D, BIM 360, Navisworks, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, plus strong communication and health‑safety focus. Hybrid work model with on‑site collaboration across disciplines.
What you’ll do
- Produce & verify BIM models/drawings for Water team
- Ensure technical QA, client feedback, risk flagging
- Resolve issues, build project colleague relationships
- Review work, enforce interdisciplinary checks
- Coordinate with design professional & BIM Manager
- Adhere to schedule & quality standards
- Collaborate across disciplines for design integrity
- Develop BIM Execution Plan & workflow criteria
- Follow BIM content standards & procedures
- Prepare discipline models for BIM Coordination Meetings
- Lead discipline-specific BIM modeling content
- Communicate effectively, strong writing skills
- Use BIM tools for design documentation
- Produce 2D drawings per standards
- Prepare design input, coordinate with staff
- Stay updated on innovations
