Senior Engineer, Procurement

About the role

Procurement team at ReNew focuses on securing mechanical and electrical utility spares and services to support renewable energy operations. The Senior Engineer drives procurement planning, vendor development, cost optimization, and compliance while collaborating with maintenance, engineering, and QA teams. Based in India, on-site work model with occasional travel to project sites.

What you’ll bring

• 3-5 years experience in procurement for manufacturing/industrial settings (BE) or 5-8 years with Diploma
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/EEE Engineering or Supply Chain Management
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical utility spares and services
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
• Familiarity with SAP systems
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
