About the role
Project Management Office at Johnson Controls, a global leader in thermal management and building systems, oversees HVAC and chiller projects for data centers, healthcare, and manufacturing. The Project Manager, Applied, leads multiple project plans, coordinates schedules, manages commercial and financial aspects, and drives projects through toll gates from HOTO to closure. Mumbai office, on-site work model, with responsibility for stakeholder communication and risk mitigation.
What you’ll do
- Manage HVAC/chiller projects across all execution stages
- Prepare and maintain project schedules with customer approval
- Monitor project costs, revenue, and invoicing
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues
- Act as primary customer liaison for project status
- Coordinate material delivery and resource deployment
- Report project performance and support stage gate reviews
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
What you’ll bring
- 5-8 years project management experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- PMP certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, ERP
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
