About the role
Transportation Engineering team at Egis designs intelligent bridge and transportation infrastructure. The Senior BIM Designer leads the creation and coordination of detailed BIM models for complex bridge projects, mentors junior designers, and drives BIM standards and clash detection processes. Bengaluru office, on-site work model, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Develop and manage detailed BIM models for bridge projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure clash‑free models
- Establish and maintain BIM standards and documentation
- Lead BIM implementation strategies and mentor junior staff
- Prepare BIM deliverables including models, drawings, and coordination reports
- Analyze design data for cost and schedule optimization
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years BIM design experience
- 5+ years bridge or transportation infrastructure projects
- Advanced Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks proficiency
- Expertise in ISO 19650 BIM coordination standards
- Strong knowledge of bridge design principles
- Leadership and mentoring experience
