About the role
Senior Designer – BIM, Civil Structures, REC at Ramboll India. Lead design and BIM modeling for bridges and civil infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Eurocodes and international standards. Coordinate with technical managers and engineers to gather inputs, prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D BIM models, and oversee CAD/BIM team production. Perform QA checks, maintain technical accuracy, and deliver project documentation on schedule. Requires 7+ years in civil engineering, strong 2D drafting and 3D modeling skills, proficiency in Tekla, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Rhino/Grasshopper, and knowledge of steel and concrete detailing. Experience with GA drawings, reinforcement detailing, quantity estimation, and international projects, especially Danish, Swedish, or Nordic, is preferred. Self‑motivated, disciplined, and fluent in English.
What you’ll do
- Support Bridges & Civils projects per Eurocodes & standards.
- Coordinate with Technical Manager & engineers for inputs.
- Prepare 2D drawings & 3D BIM models for structures.
- Coordinate drafting & modelling team for task efficiency.
- Oversee drawing production within CAD/BIM team.
- Perform QA checks on drawings & 3D models.
- Ensure technical accuracy, quality, timely delivery.
- Track tasks & deliverables to meet milestones.
What you’ll bring
- Diploma Civil Eng or ITI cert, 7+ yrs exp; B.Tech added advantage.
- Bridges & Civils projects experience; intl infra exposure advantage.
- GA, reinforcement drawings, detailing experience.
- 2D drafting & 3D modelling mandatory; steel/concrete detailing; 3D reinforcement modelling advantage.
- Intl projects exposure; Danish, Swedish, Nordic advantage.
- Structural drawings, quantity estimation, documentation.
- Tekla mandatory; MicroStation, AutoCAD, Rhino/Grasshopper advantage.
- Self‑motivated team player, works independently.
