Tech Lead, Test Software Development

About the role

Test Software Development team at AMETEK focuses on next‑generation product testing solutions. The Tech Lead designs and builds reusable test frameworks in C#/.NET, integrates NI TestStand and hardware instruments, and leads multi‑unit and parallel testing architecture. Bangalore office, on-site work model, with collaboration across global engineering teams.

What you’ll do

• Develop and architect Windows‑based test frameworks and automation software
• Create detailed test plans and strategies with product teams
• Implement multi‑unit, parallel, and DLL/COM/API testing environments
• Integrate test equipment and simulation modules, including MATLAB
• Collaborate with internal and external teams for software module development
• Maintain documentation, coding standards, and source control

What you’ll bring

• 8-12 years experience in test and measurement product development
• Proficiency in C#/.NET and Visual Studio
• Experience with NI TestStand and LabVIEW
• Knowledge of hardware platforms such as VXI, PXI, PCI
• BE/BTech in ECE, Instrumentation, EEE or CSE
