Technical Lead

About the role

Thales is seeking a Technical Lead for its Software IV/QA Engineering role at the Noida engineering competence centre, focused on Cyber & Digital business. You will lead software configuration and integration work, designing and executing IVVQ activities, test campaigns, and procedures while engaging stakeholders and demonstrating solutions to end customers. This full-time position is based in Noida, India, and follows a hybrid work model.

What you’ll do

• Ensure test preparation and execution according to the strategy given by the IVVQ Manager
• Be strongly involved in project delivery
• Satisfy customer expectations concerning Software IV/QA activities
• Participate in the design of all IVVQ activities, planning, and procedures
• Prepare test campaigns, run the tests, and analyse the results
• Write and update integration and verification test procedures documentation
• Lead the demonstration to the end customer
• Contribute to the capitalisation and continuous improvement of best practices

What you’ll bring

• Master of Engineering degree
• Significant proven experience in Test, Integration, Verification, Validation, and Software development
• Experience using Agile methods while working on solution integration
• Deep understanding of Engineering Project Management Principles and ability to structure or respect a software IVVQ plan
• Proficiency in Test Case development and execution (manual and/or automated)
• Proficiency in Requirements Analysis
• Proficiency in Test Management Tools (e.g., DOORs)
• Familiarity with various operating systems and relevant tools and programming languages
