Senior System Engineer, ServiceNow ITOM

About the role

Blackbaud Solutions India team builds and operates ServiceNow ITOM capabilities to improve infrastructure visibility. The engineer designs, implements and maintains discovery, CMDB data quality and service mapping across hybrid on‑prem and cloud environments. Hyderabad, on-site, hybrid schedule with occasional remote days.

What you’ll do

• Design, implement and operate ServiceNow ITOM discovery and service mapping
• Build and maintain reliable MID Server architecture and credential handling
• Apply identification and reconciliation best practices to improve CMDB data quality
• Create, validate and optimise service maps for accurate dependency modeling
• Integrate cloud platforms into ServiceNow with governance and cost standards
• Develop automation and integrations using workflows, scripting and APIs

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years ServiceNow engineering with ITOM focus
• Experience with Discovery, CMDB, MID Server deployment
• Hands‑on cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
• Strong troubleshooting of infrastructure and network issues
• ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript) including Business Rules and Script Includes
• Service Mapping pattern‑based methodology
• Integration Hub experience with scripted REST and OAuth
• Ability to collaborate across platform, cloud and infrastructure teams
