QA Automation Engineer / SDET / Test Architect

About the role

The QA Automation Engineers/SDET/Test Architect role focuses on ensuring software quality within the financial services sector, specifically for Financial Risk management. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing test automation frameworks using Selenium and Java, validating API platforms like APIGEE, and executing tests across cloud data platforms such as Snowflake. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, operating under a Hybrid work model.

What you’ll do

• Developing and running applications in Windows and Linux environments
• Validating software using Design Patterns, Java, TypeScript, Java EE, Spring Boot, Angular 15+, ReactJS, JMS, REST API, PL/SQL, Tomcat on OCP
• Working with large scale cloud data platforms like Snowflake with SQL and PL/SQL functions
• Applying strong knowledge of Data warehousing concepts and Large scale Data pipelines

What you’ll bring

• Experience with Test Engineering methodologies and Test Automation Frameworks
• Hands-on experience in Selenium with Java
• Experience in API platforms like APIGEE
• Demonstrable experience in software development using CI/CD tools (GIT, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Jira)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• Familiarity working with large scale cloud data platforms like Snowflake
