About the role

Developer Experience (DevEx) Delivery Engineering team builds Zillow's software delivery platform, enabling CI/CD, runners, GitLab, and progressive delivery across the organization. The Engineering Manager will lead a founding India-based platform team, hiring, guiding technical direction, and establishing a follow‑the‑sun operating model while championing AI‑first delivery workflows. Bengaluru, on-site office, full-time role.

What you’ll do

• Build and grow a high‑impact founding platform team
• Establish a follow‑the‑sun operating model with handoff practices
• Hire senior engineers and set high hiring standards
• Partner with US leads to allocate capacity and drive delivery predictability
• Raise operational excellence through on‑call, incident response, and SLOs
• Champion AI‑first delivery across the SDLC
• Create a healthy engineering culture across time zones
