Senior Application Support Engineer

About the role

Pinkerton, a global leader in enterprise risk management, seeks a Senior Application Support Engineer to enhance IT support for Group Functions. The role ensures stable operations of critical financial applications like Treasury and Financial Consolidation systems while providing high-quality assistance to VIP users. This position is based in Gurgaon, HR, IN, with a Hybrid work model.

What you’ll do

• Provide fast, high-quality support for business-critical Group Functions applications
• Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents for Treasury and Financial Consolidation systems
• Log and prioritize tickets in ITSM tools like ServiceNow
• Perform standard fixes and provide configuration guidance using runbooks
• Maintain knowledge base articles and user documentation
• Oversee user roles and access management with attention to security
• Manage lifecycle changes such as patches and releases
• Support UAT activities for major system changes

What you’ll bring

• Experience supporting business-critical SaaS applications and cloud-based financial systems
• Background in Treasury, Financial Close, Financial Consolidation, or ERP platforms
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboards and data visualizations
• Strong troubleshooting skills across integrations, data flows, and application modules

Nice to have

• Expertise in Microsoft End-User Tools and advanced Excel skills
• Ability to handle sensitive, high-priority incidents professionally
• Skilled at coordinating with internal teams and vendors
• Structured approach to managing multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
