About the role
Process Safety Design team at Quest Global ensures safe design of oil & gas and chemical manufacturing facilities. The Senior Process Engineer conducts HAZOP and QRA studies, integrates safety into process technology, and develops critical safety documents and consequence models using tools like PHAST and AutoCAD. Bengaluru, Karnataka, India – on-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Conduct HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, and QRA studies
- Design safety integration for process technology and control systems
- Develop safety documents (hazard classifications, fire & gas layouts, escape routes)
- Design active/passive fire protection and emergency shutdown systems
- Perform consequence modeling with PHAST and other simulation tools
- Ensure regulatory compliance with NFPA, API, ASME, IEC, OSHA PSM
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Safety Engineering
- 5+ years experience in Process Safety design (Oil & Gas, chemicals, manufacturing)
