About the role
The Senior Financial Analyst-Lease Enablement role supports HP, Inc.'s Integrated Leasing business in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Day-to-day, the position leads account-level P&L management, deal-level financial analysis and forecasting, forecast-versus-actual reviews, and cross-functional finance partnership across the end-to-end leasing lifecycle. The role also drives process improvement, standardization, automation, and policy development while mentoring analysts across functions and geographies.
What you’ll do
- Lead Business Finance support for the Integrated Leasing business, acting as a key finance partner to business and operational stakeholders.
- Lead account-level P&L management, providing visibility into revenue, costs, margins, profitability, key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead deal-level financial analysis, forecasting, and profitability assessment, ensuring accurate reflection of business assumptions and operational drivers.
- Own the forecast-versus-actual review process, identifying variances and root causes, and providing complex financial analysis and scenario modelling.
- Partner with business leaders to influence strategic and operational decision-making with financial perspectives and recommendations.
- Lead financial engagement with Customer Delivery Managers and Contract Management Operations to support deal and account-level profitability.
- Provide finance support across the end-to-end leasing lifecycle, including lease initiation, asset installation, billing, revenue realization, and profitability management.
- Drive process improvement, standardization, automation, and policy development initiatives that strengthen financial governance and operational effectiveness.
What you’ll bring
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA, MBA) strongly preferred.
- Typically 12+ years of experience as a financial analyst, of which at least five years should have been managing the P&L.
- Strong FP&A and analytical backgrounds.
- Strong technical accounting skills focused on Leasing/Financing.
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Superior business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Excellent project management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in Commercial Financing, Business finance roles, and services-oriented revenue related roles.
- Strong passion for driving business outcomes and a proven track record of working with Executive Leadership.
