Executive Leadership at Weekday drives the technology vision and execution across Engineering, Product, and Data. The CTO defines long-term technology strategy, leads AI and cloud initiatives, and builds high‑performing engineering teams to deliver scalable, AI‑powered platforms. Pune office, on-site, with executive collaboration and strategic impact across the organization.

What you’ll do

• Define and execute the organization’s long‑term technology vision aligned with business objectives
• Lead engineering, product, and data teams to build scalable, AI‑driven platforms
• Oversee architecture decisions for cloud, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
• Establish engineering best practices, development processes, and quality standards
• Drive AI and machine learning adoption across products and operations
• Collaborate with executive leadership to translate strategy into technology solutions
• Mentor and grow high‑performing engineering organizations
• Manage technology risk, security, and reliability initiatives

What you’ll bring

• 15+ years software engineering and technology leadership experience
• Prior CTO, VP Engineering, or similar executive role
• Proven track record building large transactional platforms
• Strong background in AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and distributed systems
• Expertise in cloud‑native architecture, microservices, and APIs
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in B2B, FinTech, marketplace, or supply chain technology environments
