About the role

Software Quality Engineering team at Philips focuses on delivering robust, integrated health technology solutions. The Senior Software Technologist designs and executes comprehensive test plans, builds automated test frameworks with pytest and BDD, and collaborates with developers to ensure end‑to‑end software quality across the product lifecycle. Bangalore office, hybrid work model with at least three days onsite per week, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
• Create detailed test plans, cases, and risk‑based test strategies
• Execute manual and automated functional, integration, and non‑functional tests
• Manage production‑like test environments and test data
• Perform root cause analysis and work with developers on defect resolution
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
• Own end‑to‑end quality activities throughout the product lifecycle
• Provide quality assessments for release readiness

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years software testing experience
• 5+ years hands‑on automation using pytest and BDD
• 5+ years building reusable test frameworks
• Experience with Azure testing tools
• Proficient with Bitbucket and GitHub version control
• CI/CD pipeline experience in Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Collaboration across geographically distributed teams
