About the role

Global Facilities (GFS) business unit at Burns & McDonnell India designs and engineers food & beverage and other industrial facilities. The Associate Senior Structural Designer creates 3D Tekla and 2D AutoCAD fabrication models, generates shop drawings, RFIs, and bill‑of‑materials reports, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure clash‑free designs. Based in Mumbai with on‑site work required, the role supports the structural team’s growth and offers opportunities for increased engineering responsibility.

What you’ll do

• Develop 3D Tekla models and 2D AutoCAD fabrication drawings
• Generate fabrication shop drawings, RFIs, and bill‑of‑materials reports
• Coordinate scope with other engineering disciplines to resolve clashes
• Support structural department manager in team expansion and design responsibilities
• Maintain accurate and self‑checked deliverables

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years fabrication design experience
• Proficiency in Tekla Structures
• AutoCAD expertise
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
