About the role

TELUS Digital's Applications team builds end‑to‑end customer experience solutions on AWS. The Sr. Applications Developer configures, scripts and deploys Amazon Connect, Lex, Polly, Lambda and related services, translating business requirements into technical workflows and ensuring robust, secure implementations. Remote (India)

What you’ll do

  • Configure and script Amazon Connect implementations
  • Develop AWS Lex bots and Lambda functions
  • Integrate services such as Polly, S3, Kinesis
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads
  • Ensure configurations meet security, logging and performance standards
  • Translate functional requirements into call flows and IVR designs
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards
  • Support transition to managed services

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years in Contact Center/CCaaS solutions
  • Experience with Amazon Connect
  • Build AWS Lex and Lambda using Python or Node.js
  • Translate business requirements into technical workflows
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Manage Waterfall and Agile projects
  • Perform code reviews and enforce best practices
  • Identify and resolve system defects
