Banking Application Support Engineer

About the role

Kyndryl seeks a Banking Application Support Engineer to design, customize, and maintain the SugarCRM platform for banking clients in Bangalore, India. The role involves advising on and implementing CRM solutions including Customer360, Accounts, Services Request, Lead & Campaign Management, Reporting, dashboards, and data migration. You will independently manage requirements, modernization priorities, integration, testing, deployment, and production support. This is an on-site, full-time position.

What you’ll do

• Design, customize, and maintain the SugarCRM platform to meet specific business needs using PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript
• Advise on and implement banking CRM solutions with functional and technical expertise in Customer360, Accounts, Services Request, Lead & Campaign Management, Reporting, administrative functions, dashb
• Independently manage requirements, application selection, modernization priorities, design and approach, application integration, testing, deployment, and application support
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues related to the CRM system, ensuring optimal performance and providing operational support for production applications
• Integrate SugarCRM with customer onboarding systems, Lending, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Payments, CBS, and APIs (REST/SOAP)
• Influence, collaborate, and build relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams
• Apply analytical and logical skills to solve complex problems and debug code effectively

What you’ll bring

• 5 to 10 years in banking industry implementing/modernizing banking applications and support services exclusively in SugarCRM
• Experience in large banking implementations and/or application support services for Indian clients
• Experience integrating SugarCRM with customer onboarding, Lending, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Payments, CBS, and APIs (REST/SOAP)
• Knowledge of banking domain, especially India-specific requirements
• Techno-functional knowledge of industry-standard banking applications
• Strong technical expertise in PHP8.x, Elastic Search, Oracle, JavaScript, Linux, TIBCO, API Gateway, and Data migration
• Familiarity with web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, AJAX) and exposure to JavaScript frameworks
• Strong technical acumen and deep working knowledge of Agile Methods, Service Architecture, and enterprise Cloud Integration
