About the role

Investments team at Mercer, a Marsh business, provides comprehensive analysis and research support for institutional investment decisions and risk management. The Lead Specialist drives asset allocation solutions, prepares portfolio evaluation reports, leads client and ad‑hoc projects, and mentors junior team members. Based in Gurugram, India, this hybrid role requires at least three days onsite per week.

What you’ll do

• Develop asset allocation solutions for institutional clients
• Prepare and review portfolio evaluation and manager commentary reports
• Lead client and ad‑hoc projects, including strategic research initiatives
• Review and amend investment policy statements
• Screen fund managers and prepare search reports
• Provide research support on ESG, style analysis, and asset class trends
• Coach and guide junior team members
• Support process leads with KPI and dashboard reporting

What you’ll bring

• 5-7 years experience in wealth/investment management
• Bachelor's or Master's in finance or economics
• Progress towards CFA/CAIA/CIPM certification
• Proficient with Bloomberg, Morningstar, Lipper
• Strong analytical and logical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Stakeholder management and escalation handling
• Ability to multitask in dynamic environment
