About the role

Balbix seeks a senior DevOps leader to architect and scale AWS-based SaaS infrastructure, design IaC with Terraform, build secure CI/CD pipelines, and drive observability across Kubernetes clusters. The role demands deep expertise in AWS services, automation, and cross-functional mentorship, ensuring high reliability and rapid delivery for a security platform.

What you’ll do

Lead critical DevOps projects and set technical direction
Architect and implement scalable AWS infrastructure
Design IaC components for Balbix solutions
Build secure, automated CI/CD pipelines
Ensure observability and monitoring across services
Mentor senior engineers and cross-functional teams
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response

10+ years DevOps experience
4+ years AWS infrastructure management
4+ years Terraform IaC
3+ years Kubernetes & Helm
Expert Python scripting
Proficient Ansible
CI/CD with GitLab/Jenkins
Observability with Grafana/Prometheus
Cloud certifications (AWS preferred)

Nice to have

MLOps experience
AI infrastructure knowledge
Experience with Aurora RDS, ElasticCache, Cassandra
