About the role

BPS OPS Cloud Native team builds scalable, modern software platforms that enable enterprise customers to solve complex business challenges. As a Principal Python Cloud Native Developer you will design and deliver full‑stack solutions, lead microservice architecture, and collaborate directly with stakeholders to prototype and productionize applications. Based in India, on‑site role with occasional travel to client sites as needed.

What you’ll do

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
• Architect and develop scalable Python backend services using Django, FastAPI, or Flask
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with front‑end frameworks like React/Next.js
• Leverage AWS services to deploy and manage cloud‑native applications
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and adherence to design patterns
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical delivery across cross‑functional teams

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years software engineering experience
• Strong hands‑on Python development
• React or Next.js web development
• Design and implement REST APIs and microservices
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Working knowledge of enterprise databases such as Snowflake, Databricks, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
