About the role
Cognizant seeks a Kinaxis Architect in Chennai to design and optimize end-to-end supply and demand planning solutions for global manufacturing clients. The role involves translating business needs into scalable Kinaxis configurations, leading requirement discovery, and ensuring system performance within a hybrid work model. This position focuses on enhancing planning accuracy and operational resilience through expert architectural guidance.
Responsibilities
- Design Kinaxis-based planning solutions addressing complex supply and demand challenges
- Drive requirement discovery sessions to convert objectives into detailed Kinaxis configurations
- Lead end-to-end solution design encompassing data models, workflows, and control mechanisms
- Oversee configuration of Kinaxis demand planning components including forecast models and scenario simulations
- Guide setup of Kinaxis supply planning functions like capacity planning and inventory optimization
- Conduct fit gap assessments between current processes and Kinaxis functionalities
- Manage solution documentation including architecture diagrams and configuration decisions
- Collaborate with testing teams to define test strategies and validate solution reliability
Qualifications
- Deep hands-on experience in Kinaxis supply planning configuration and design
- Strong proficiency in Kinaxis demand planning including forecast model definition
- Solid knowledge of Kinaxis fundamentals such as data model structures and master data readiness
- Practical understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chain planning processes
- Ability to work in a hybrid delivery model with structured communication
