About the role

Cybersecurity Engineering at First Citizens India drives AI-enabled security strategies across perimeter defense, data protection, and advanced cyber analytics. The Senior Principal Engineer designs and implements AI/ML-driven security capabilities, leads architecture of NGFW, WAF, DLP and integrates with SIEM/SOAR/XDR platforms. Bangalore, hybrid work model, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Develop AI/ML models for anomaly detection and threat prediction
• Optimize perimeter defenses and data protection controls
• Automate security operations and policy orchestration
• Collaborate with SOC, threat intel, cloud and IAM teams
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance standards

What you’ll bring

• 15+ years cybersecurity engineering
• Deep expertise in perimeter security (NGFW, WAF, DLP)
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and security analytics
• Hands‑on with Azure, AWS, GCP cloud security
• Proficiency in Python and PowerShell automation
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, SASE, identity‑centric security

Nice to have

• Design enterprise cybersecurity strategies
• Architect AI‑driven threat detection and response
• Lead implementation of SSPM/DSPM/CSPM solutions
• Integrate security platforms with SIEM/SOAR/XDR
• Mentor team and drive security innovation
