About the role

Engineering team at WebEngage builds a high‑scale, secure infrastructure that powers the company’s AI‑native retention platform. The Devops Engineer designs, implements and automates cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and observability, and drives security and compliance programs. Based in Mumbai with a hybrid work model, the role collaborates across product and security teams to improve reliability, reduce cloud costs and ensure platform resilience.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement high‑scale, secure cloud infrastructure
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts
• Enhance security practices and lead compliance initiatives (ISO, SOC2)
• Monitor system performance, set up observability, and improve incident response
• Research cost‑optimization strategies and implement cloud‑cost reduction methods
• Conduct BCP/DR dry‑runs and ensure platform resilience

What you’ll bring

• 3-6 years of experience running high‑scale cloud infrastructure
• Hands‑on experience with AWS (or Azure/GCP) and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting (Python, Ansible)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitLab
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, DataDog, Sentry
• Knowledge of distributed systems (Kafka, Elasticsearch) and web servers (NGINX, HA‑Proxy)
• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or related field
