About the role
Cement Operations at UltraTech Cement's Andhra Pradesh Cement Works (APCW) ensures continuous limestone production by maintaining tipper and tip trailer fleets. The role oversees equipment availability, budget, inventory, and reliability metrics to meet daily production targets while driving cost reductions and fuel savings. Based in Andhra Pradesh, India, on-site at the mine and plant facilities.
What you’ll do
- Ensure 100% equipment availability for mining operations
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance per OEM recommendations
- Monitor and improve MTBF and MTTR metrics
- Control maintenance costs, fuel and lubricant consumption
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement
What you’ll bring
- 5-9 years of maintenance engineering experience
- Proficiency in MTBF/MTTR analysis
- Experience with heavy equipment maintenance (HEMM, LMV, cranes)
- Knowledge of SAP/R-3 PM module
- Cost control and inventory management skills
