About the role

Technical Lead - ABAP Specialist at ReNew, a leading decarbonisation solutions provider, drives the design and delivery of complex SAP ABAP/S4HANA/BTP solutions to support clean energy initiatives. The role designs, develops, and optimizes RICEF objects, CDS views, AMDPs, and OData services while collaborating with functional and architecture teams to translate business needs into technical implementations. Gurgaon, on-site, full-time, with opportunities to mentor junior developers and influence best practices in SAP development.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop complex ABAP/S4HANA/BTP solutions
• Create and enhance RICEF objects, CDS views, AMDPs, OData services
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance standards
• Collaborate with functional, integration, and architecture teams
• Drive clean core principles and modern extensibility
• Optimize HANA system performance
• Provide L2/L3 production support and incident resolution
• Mentor junior developers and promote reusable frameworks

What you’ll bring

• 9-12 years SAP ABAP experience
• Strong S/4HANA development (CDS, AMDP, RAP)
• Expertise in OOABAP and RICEF objects
• Experience building OData services and APIs
• Hands‑on SAP BTP/CPI integration
• HANA performance optimization skills
• Involvement in 1–2 SAP implementation projects
• Knowledge of secure ABAP and transport management
