Director - Services Marketing

About the role

Cognizant seeks a Director for its Intuitive Operations and Automation (IOA) practice to shape market narratives for Agentic AI and BPO services. The role involves defining messaging strategies, driving multi-channel marketing presence, and leading executive communications in Chennai. This is a hybrid position requiring 3-4 days weekly in the office.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end IOA messaging and positioning strategy
• Drive multi-channel marketing presence across digital platforms and events
• Build case study library by partnering with delivery and client teams
• Partner with sales on strategic pursuits using bespoke narratives and battlecards
• Lead annual marketing strategy, roadmap, and performance rhythm
• Manage executive communications and people communications
• Adapt global marketing strategies for regional markets
• Work with creative and agency partners for high-quality content production

Qualifications

• 15+ years progressive experience in marketing/communications
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
• Deep understanding of AI, automation, and digital transformation
• Proven track record building integrated marketing functions globally
