About the role

The Officer (Manager), Client Profitability (Client P&L) Transformation, Analytics & Technology role at State Street supports the Client Profitability transformation agenda through automation, technology adoption, data analytics, and continuous process improvement. Day-to-day, the role executes automation and reporting initiatives, partners with Finance, Technology, DART, and Analytics teams, contributes to PCM implementation, builds dashboards and profitability analyses, and provides coaching to junior team members. The position is based in Bangalore, India.

What you’ll do

  • Support execution of the Client P&L automation roadmap in line with Finance Transformation objectives
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities across production, reporting, and analytics processes
  • Act as a Client P&L point of contact for assigned DART initiatives and participate in evaluation and testing of AI, Automation, and Analytics solutions
  • Support PCM implementation, enhancements, and adoption activities including requirements gathering, testing, UAT, and implementation tasks
  • Help migrate manual allocation methodologies into scalable platforms and improve traceability, controls, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Support data quality, allocation, reporting, and analytics enhancements and help develop self-service reporting and dashboards
  • Prepare profitability analyses and insights for review and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to junior team members and analysts and support change management and adoption activities

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 6–8 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Client Profitability, Business Analytics, Finance Transformation, or related disciplines
  • Experience contributing to transformation, automation, or technology projects
  • Experience partnering with Technology teams to deliver business solutions
  • Good understanding of financial reporting, profitability analytics, allocation methodologies, and management reporting
  • Working knowledge of PCM / HPCM / Oracle EPM platforms
  • Working knowledge of Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL
  • Exposure to AI, Automation & Analytics technologies and data management and reporting platforms

Nice to have

MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification is a plus
