SAP Solution Manager Consultant

About the role

PwC Advisory’s SAP consulting team in Airoli, Mumbai seeks an IN-Associate (SAP SolMan) to deliver SAP business application consulting. Day-to-day work includes configuring, administering, and supporting SAP Solution Manager (7.2) landscapes, implementing ChaRM and ITSM processes, running technical and system monitoring, managing test and release/transport activities, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating with SAP Basis, Functional, Development, and Infrastructure teams. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials while ensuring SAP best practices and compliance across landscapes.

What you’ll do

• Configure, administer, and support SAP Solution Manager (7.2) landscapes
• Implement and maintain Change Request Management (ChaRM) processes
• Manage Solution Documentation, Business Process Documentation, and Process Management
• Configure and support IT Service Management (ITSM) and Service Desk functionalities
• Implement and monitor Technical, System, Interface, and End User Experience Monitoring
• Support Test Suite, Test Planning, Test Execution, and Defect Management activities
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using Workload, Exception, and Trace Analysis
• Manage Focused Build, Release Management, and Transport Management processes

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 2–7 years of relevant SAP Solution Manager experience
• Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Solution Manager environments
• Expertise in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), ChaRM, Monitoring, ITSM, and Test Management
• SAP SolMan, S/4HANA, and E2E implementation skills
• Ability to coordinate with SAP Basis, Functional, Development, and Infrastructure teams
• Experience supporting large enterprise SAP environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills for SolMan-related issues with timely resolution

Nice to have

• SAP Solution Manager certification
• Experience in S/4HANA implementation or migration projects
• Exposure to SAP Cloud ALM
• Experience with Focused Insights and SAP Focused Run
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies within SAP environments
