Alpha Implementation Test Associate, Assistant Manager

About the role

GCI’s Global Testing Practice at State Street focuses on end‑to‑end platform testing for large‑scale transformation programs. The Associate leads functional and automation testing teams, designs test strategy, drives AI‑enhanced testing, and manages client engagements across front, middle and back‑office workflows. Bangalore, India, on‑site, hybrid schedule with occasional APAC/UK hours as needed.

What you’ll do

• Represent State Street GCI in client engagements and set testing expectations
• Manage resource allocation and oversee global functional and automation testers
• Lead strategic delivery initiatives and contribute to implementation models
• Drive adoption of testing standards, best practices and process excellence
• Script, run and troubleshoot robotic test automation using UiPath
• Support AI understanding and champion AI‑driven testing methodologies
• Produce test metrics and status reports for management
• Coordinate with US/UK teams, third‑party vendors and SSC clients

What you’ll bring

• 4-9 years functional testing in capital markets
• 3+ years leading project teams
• Hands‑on experience with investment banking applications across front, middle and back office
• Designing test strategy and approach aligned to client service models
• Proficiency with test management tools (JIRA, Confluence, SQL, PowerPoint)
• Experience with UiPath test automation
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
• Understanding of AI concepts and AI‑driven testing approaches
