AI Infrastructure Architect

About the role

AI Infrastructure Architecture team at Accenture designs and builds scalable Azure AI infrastructure for large‑scale machine learning workloads. The role architects distributed training environments, GPU clusters, model‑serving platforms and automation pipelines, while mentoring engineers and ensuring compliance, security and cost efficiency. Pune, India, on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Design end‑to‑end Azure compute architecture for AI/ML workloads
• Lead architecture assessments, identify gaps and recommend optimizations
• Define capacity planning, cost forecasts and scaling strategies
• Develop automation and CI/CD frameworks for reliable deployments
• Establish monitoring, observability and performance tuning practices
• Mentor engineers and review designs/code
• Document architecture decisions and trade‑offs
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to align infrastructure with business outcomes

What you’ll bring

• 12 years overall experience
• 4+ years designing AI/ML infrastructure on Azure
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++ or similar languages
• Experience with Apache Airflow, Kubeflow or similar workflow tools
• Hands‑on with Azure VMs, AKS, Azure ML, Azure Storage, Azure NetApp Files
• Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM, Terraform
• CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes
