About the role
TurnPoint, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP), is seeking a System Administrator to join its dynamic team and help push the boundaries of technical solutions. In this fully remote role based in India, you will drive advanced technical projects from desktop support to Office 365 and Azure infrastructure design, providing top-tier support for diverse clients while managing your own tasks and mentoring junior resources. You will work the 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time shift, collaborating closely with the team to deliver world-class solutions and continuously improve service quality.
What you’ll do
- Act as a liaison between clients and technical staff, coaching junior resources and intervening when necessary
- Perform daily client work remotely at the level expected of the role (not tier 1 client work)
- Adhere to existing processes, including change management
- Provide remote support Monday – Friday, 1AM-10AM PT and periodic after hours work as required (initial 60-90-day training period schedule is 8AM-5PM PT)
- Proactively identify, prioritize, diagnose, troubleshoot issues and deliver accurate tech work
- Walk clients through the problem-solving process in plain language terms, on their tech level
- Create, review and maintain tasks owned by self for support of client projects
- Administer and maintain existing infrastructure for clients, including servers, networks (both physical and virtual), DNS, updates, and hybrid Active Directory
What you’ll bring
- Proven work experience as System Administrator (not a role for freshers)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience administering Microsoft 365
- Experience administering Windows 10/11
- Experience administering Windows Server 2022
- Experience with physical and virtual networks
- Experience with Active Directory administration, group policies, and domain services
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies and tools
