About the role

Applications Engineering team at XP Power designs and supports power supply solutions for industrial customers. The Senior Applications Engineer/Assistant Manager bridges engineering, sales, and service to provide technical support, manage applications, and lead issue resolution on customer sites, including travel as needed. Bangalore, India, on-site role with occasional travel.

What you’ll do

Provide technical support to customers, sales staff, and distributors
Collaborate with sales and project teams to develop application solutions
Lead technical issue resolution during design and implementation phases
Maintain product knowledge and propose alternative solutions
Prepare and deliver product presentations
Document project information in Salesforce, SharePoint, and Microsoft365

What you’ll bring

8+ years experience in power supply engineering
Proficient with test equipment such as oscilloscope, AC source, electronic load
Strong system-level troubleshooting and EMC/IEC standards knowledge
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Effective written and verbal communication in English

Education

Electrical Engineering Degree
