About the role
Global Products Group (GPG) Optical Metrology Division at KLA builds advanced metrology and inspection software for semiconductor manufacturing. The Technical Lead drives requirements analysis, software design, development and unit testing of OMD product software, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to assess impact of changes and mitigate technical risks. Chennai, India, on-site role.
What you’ll do
- Acquire and demonstrate technical knowledge of OMD product software
- Perform requirements analysis, software design, development and unit testing
- Participate in requirements definition and review process
- Provide technical assessment of impact of requirement changes
- Contribute technical expertise to estimation and project planning
- Identify and mitigate technical risks with the technical lead
- Improve development procedures and propose solutions
- Ensure designs, code and tests are robust, future‑proof and scalable
What you’ll bring
- BE/BS/BTech degree
- 4+ years software experience
- Strong C++ and C# programming
- Thorough knowledge of SDLC and software engineering
- Experience in analysis, design, development and unit testing
- Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Willingness to travel to Israel, US and customer sites
