About the role

Accenture is seeking a Custom Software Engineer in Gurugram to lead technology delivery across application development, system integration, and GenAI/Agentic AI. The role involves leading teams and workstreams across the SDLC, identifying high-value AI and automation opportunities, translating business problems into technology solutions, and driving measurable business outcomes and ROI. The position requires 12–16 years of experience and 15 years of full-time education.

What you’ll do

Analyze business processes and value streams to identify opportunities for GenAI, Agentic AI, automation, modernization, and process transformation
Lead the design and delivery of application, integration, GenAI, and Agentic AI solutions, ensuring effective integration with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and external systems
Own delivery across scope, schedule, resources, budget, dependencies, risks, quality, and milestones while coordinating multiple technical teams
Partner with business, product, architecture, and technology stakeholders to prioritize use cases, demonstrate solutions, track outcomes, and drive adoption and reuse

What you’ll bring

Minimum 12 years of experience in application development, system integration, GenAI/Agentic AI, and technology delivery
15 years of full-time education
Strong understanding of application development, SDLC, system integration, APIs, microservices, databases, cloud applications, OOP, and software engineering practices
Strong understanding of GenAI/LLM and Agentic AI, including prompt engineering, agents, agentic workflows, orchestration, tool/function calling, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and
Experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, Amazon Bedrock Agents, or equivalent, and enterprise integration patterns
Strong understanding of solution architecture, scalability, security, maintainability, Responsible AI, and AI governance
Experience managing Agile delivery, project budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and multiple workstreams
Ability to define and track business outcomes and ROI metrics such as productivity improvement, effort savings, cycle-time reduction, quality improvement, and cost savings

Nice to have

Practical experience with Python and another OOP language is preferred
Experience leading PoCs, executive demonstrations, technical hiring, mentoring, and capability development is desirable
