Officer, Report Development

About the role

State Street’s MyStateStreet Reporting Team delivers advanced reporting services to sophisticated investment managers by aggregating complex data into client-ready reports. As an Officer, you will design and develop dynamic, interactive reports using the Interactive Report Designer platform for global Custody, Digital, and Fund Services clients. This role is based in Bangalore or Mumbai.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop reports using IRD and visualizations using Manage Card Designer
• Analyze large-scale datasets and contribute to data modelling and data mart design
• Implement reporting solutions using BI suites like Jasper, WebFocus, Actuate, and eSpreadsheet
• Apply strong SQL skills for data analysis, query optimization, and validation
• Collaborate with data sourcing teams and product stakeholders to ensure data integrity
• Act as a subject matter expert for IRD, supporting ad-hoc report creation and issue resolution
• Stay current with Big Data platforms, cloud technologies, and tools like Data Bricks and Snowflake

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, MIS, Computer Science, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in data analysis, dashboard design, and business intelligence
• Proficiency in BI tools such as JasperReports, WebFocus, Actuate, and eSpreadsheet
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data warehouse environments
• Familiarity with Big Data platforms, cloud technologies, Snowflake, and Databricks
