IAM Engineer

About the role

Ericsson is hiring an IAM Engineer to join the core IAM – Active Directory Operations Team, responsible for 24×7 support and management of Active Directory infrastructure hosted on Hyper-V, HPE Hyper Converged Solution, Azure, and AWS. Day-to-day work includes reactive maintenance, incident and patch/vulnerability management, monitoring AD replication and DNS, scripting with PowerShell, and supporting IAM/PAM platforms. The role is based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh or Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and operates on a 24×7 shift.

What you’ll do

• Provide 24×7 support and management of Active Directory infrastructure hosted on Hyper-V, HPE Hyper Converged Solution, Azure, and AWS
• Execute reactive maintenance activities to ensure services remain continuously available and perform to SLA levels
• Support incident management, patch management, and vulnerability management
• Report and review connectivity, synchronization, and replication within Active Directory
• Monitor, report, and review metrics and changes around netlogon, NTDS Database partitions, DNS settings, SRV records, and trust relationships
• Perform capacity planning, upgrades, and expansion of the Active Directory environment
• Create and modify PowerShell scripting related to Active Directory
• Review domain controllers, application, and security events to identify issues or trends

What you’ll bring

• Graduate in Computer Science or similar from a recognized and accredited institution
• 7+ years of experience in handling core IAM AD Operations stuff
• Experience in core MS Active Directory in a multi-domain environment
• Hands-on experience on AWS/Azure/GCP IaaS
• Hands-on experience on managing Azure AD Connect server synchronization and troubleshooting synchronization issues
• DNS, GPO management, and knowledge of FSMO roles
• PowerShell scripting related to Active Directory
• BMC Remedy Monitoring/Ticketing tool
