About the role

Real-World Evidence Team at Stryker builds statistical and analytical services for RWE studies, delivering reproducible insights for clinical affairs. The Senior Analyst leads study design, creates statistical analysis plans, programs SAS analyses, automates workflows, and mentors junior staff while collaborating with cross‑divisional partners. Gurugram, India, hybrid work model with on‑site collaboration as needed.

What you’ll do

Develop and oversee statistical analysis plans for RWE studies
Program and validate SAS code to generate tables, listings, figures, and datasets
Create macros and automation tools to streamline standard analyses
Document projects for reproducibility and maintain SOPs
Oversee external contractors and vendors for statistical programming
Train new hires and mentor junior staff
Identify and implement improvements in statistical workflows and data quality
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance

What you’ll bring

5-8 years as statistician or statistical programmer, including 2+ years with real‑world data in pharma/medical device sector
Expertise in SAS programming and familiarity with R, Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks
Experience with secondary data sources such as registries, claims, EMR, and large healthcare databases (e.g., MarketScan, Optum)
Knowledge of medical coding vocabularies (ICD, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC)
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and with stakeholders
Understanding of statistical, pharmacoepidemiology, and outcomes research methods for RWE
Familiarity with cloud computing environments
Preferred certifications: HIPAA, GCP, Human Subject Protection, Healthcare Quality Principles
